Abstract

The objective of this study was creating chemistry learning module through Book Creator and evaluate its effect on the development of problem-solving skills among 10^th female students. To achieve the study objectives, the experimental method and quasi-experimental design were used. Eighty-eight female students enrolled in the tenth grade at Al-Qasila Secondary School for Girls, in Jordan. Each of the (44) students per class was assigned to either an experimental group utilizing an interactive e-learning strategy or a control group using traditional teaching methods. An interactive study unit in chemistry was designed in the form of an electronic book using (Book Creator), problem solving test was used, validity and reliability were conducted. Statistical analysis of the collected data was conducted using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results showed a statistically significant advantage in problem-solving skills for the experimental group compared to the control group.
