The Jordan Journal of Educational Sciences (JJES) publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research across educational disciplines. We prioritize original studies with strong methodological standards and meaningful contributions to the field.

  • Plagiarism Policy: JJES maintains a strict policy against all forms of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and redundant publication. Submitted papers must not exceed a 20% similarity index to qualify for review. Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software, and those found to contain plagiarized content—whether intentional or unintentional—will be rejected. If plagiarism is detected post-publication, the article may be retracted, and relevant academic institutions will be notified. Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring the originality and integrity of their work.
  • Ethical Integrity: Suspected ethical violations, including academic misconduct, will be reported to the author's institution for further action.
  • Publication Charges: : JJES does not charge any fees for submission, review, or publication. JJES promotes open-access research and does not charge any fees for submission, review, or publication. All submissions are evaluated based on academic merit without financial barriers.
  • Review Process: While we provide constructive feedback, reviewer reports will not be shared for rejected papers.

Guidelines for Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Use in Research

JJES supports the responsible use of AI in research while ensuring transparency, ethical integrity, and reproducibility.

    • Disclosure & Citations:
      • Authors must acknowledge all AI tools used in data collection, analysis, or writing.
      • AI tools, datasets, and algorithms must be properly cited.
    • Ethics & Integrity:
      • AI must not manipulate results, introduce biases, or violate data privacy regulations.
      • Authors are responsible for critically evaluating AI-generated outputs and discussing any limitations.
    • Transparency & Reproducibility:
      • Authors must document AI methods, settings, and parameters to ensure reproducibility and validation.
    • Authorship & Contribution Limits:
      • AI cannot be credited as an author.
      • AI should not exceed 30% of the research’s intellectual and analytical work, including data analysis, literature review, and writing.
      • Core elements like hypotheses, interpretations, and conclusions must be author-driven.
