The purpose of this study was to reveal the level of perfectionism and academic adaptation among Gifted students in King Abdullah II schools of excellence in Amman city. In addition, the study intended to investigate the relationship between the level of perfectionism and the academic adaptation of these pupils. In addition to determining the influence of gender and social class variables on the level of perfectionism and academic adaptation among the study sample, the researcher employed the descriptive correlation technique. The sample of the study consisted of 477 male and female students, as the males were 144 students and the females were 333 students. Frost's (1991) perfectionism scale, translated by Al-Tj, Huwaidi and Khzaled (2017), and the researcher's academic adaptation scale were used. The findings of the study showed that there is an inverse relationship between perfectionism and academic adaptation. Further, it showed an average level of perfectionism and a high level of academic adaptation among the study sample. There is an effect for the students gender in favor of males and for class variables in favor of seventh grade in the level of perfectionism. Meanwhile, there were no differences in student's gender on the level of academic adaptation, while the difference was in the class variable in favor of the seventh grade in the academic adaptation
