Obstacles Facing the Implementation of e-Learning in Government Schools in Palestine and Ways to Address Them from the Teachers’ Perspective

Objectives: This study aimed to explore the challenges, hindering the implementation of e-learning in Palestinian government schools, and to propose potential solutions from the teachers' perspective.
Methodology: To achieve the study's objective, the researcher relied on the descriptive approach and used the questionnaire as a study tool. It was applied to a stratified random sample of 374 male and female teachers.
Results: The results showed that the overall degree of obstacles facing the implementation of e-learning in government schools in Palestine from the teachers' perspective was at a high level. It showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the obstacles to implementing e-learning in government schools in Palestine from the teachers’ perspective attributed to the variables of gender and academic qualification, while The results also showed the existence of differences attributed to the years of service in teaching between those who have (less than 5 years, 10 years or more) on the one hand and (from 5 to less than 10 years) on the other hand; the differences were in favor of teachers who had years of service in teaching (less than 5 years, 10 years or more).
Conclusion: In light of the findings, the study recommends the need to support and develop the infrastructure to ensure a conducive learning environment in schools through providing computers and stable internet connectivity.
