The aim of this study was to identify the level of inclusion of visual thinking skills in tenth-grade chemistry textbook in Saudi Arabia. After ensuring the validity and reliability of the analysis card, a descriptive approach based on content analysis was used to examine all 102 shapes in the chemistry textbook. This approach used a content analysis card that included five fundamental skills for visual thinking. The results showed that the skill of identifying and describing images has the highest inclusion rate, with a percentage of 57.8% and an average level of inclusion, followed by the skill of inferring meanings, with a percentage of 44.8% and an average level of inclusion. However, the skill of shape analysis was in fourth place with an inclusion rate of 42.0% and an average level of inclusion and the skill of understanding and interpreting mystery was in fifth place with an inclusion rate of 57.8% and an average level of inclusion
