The present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Adlerian therapy in raising the level of self-efficacy among a sample of abused Syrian refugee women residing in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (30) Syrian refugees registered in the Arab Women Organization (AWO) of Jordan Services Center in Irbid, Jordan, who were randomly divided into two groups: Experimental group and control group. The experimental group underwent a counseling program of (14) twice-weekly sessions. To achieve the aims of the study, the study used Schwarzer & Jerusalem Self-efficacy Scale and a group counseling program prepared by the researchers, after validating their psychometric properties. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of the counseling program in raising the level of self-efficacy. It was found that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and those of the control group in the post-test on the self-efficacy scale, in favor of the experimental group. In addition, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the follow-up test after one month, indicating that Syrian women refugees retained the effect of treatment
