Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the relationship between teachers awareness for effectiveness of the diploma program of information and communication technology in the development of professional competence among school teachers from their point of view . The study sample consisted of (272) teachers from the study population overall and numbered (322 ) teachers , and to achieve the objectives of the study and collect the necessary data , the researchers developed a questionnaire composed of (6) areas and (88) a paragraph, The study found that the effectiveness of the program Diploma in information and Communication Technology 's school teachers from the perspective of teachers themselves in the medium . As was the level of availability of professional competence among school teachers from the perspective of teachers themselves in general was high . Results have also shown a relationship statistically significant positive correlation between the level of effectiveness of the diploma program of information and communication technology and the availability of professional competence among school teachers, therefore the researchers recommend increasing Professional Competence teaching for teachers which related to using Information and Communication Technology
