The study sample consisted of (1604) students from Mutah University; the researcher used a measure for temptation and the other for religiosity. The results showed that the degree of religiosity among university students was high, while the degree of resistance to temptation was moderate; both the degree of religiosity and resistance to temptation among university students differed according to gender, degree, and their interaction. The results also showed that the relationship between religiosity and resistance to temptation was positive among university students, (the higher the degree of religiosity, the higher the degree of resistance to temptation).
