Since Swartz' model of skillful thinking assumes that developing analytical thinking, critical thinking, and creative thinking improves decision-making skills, the current study aims to investigate the effect of a training program based on Swartz' model on developing the decision- Making skills on a sample of seventh - grade students at Zarqa city. A pre test/ post test quasi-experimental design was followed on a sample consisting of (81) students, divided into two random groups, an experimental group (n=40) who was subjected to the training program and a control group (n=41) who was subjected to nothing. After the administration of the training program and the decision-making scale, the results of the study revealed that there were significant differences between the means of the experimental and the control groups in favor of the experimental group on the total score of decision making, as well as all of the sub dimensions of the scale. These results assure the efficiency of the training program on decision making skills, as well as, the results confirm the validity of Swartz' model
