The Degree of Application of Administrative Governance in Secondary Schools in Jerash Governorate from the Teacher’s Point of View

This study aimed to identify the degree of application of administrative governance in secondary schools in Jerash governorate from the point of view of teachers. To achieve the goals of the study and answer its questions, the descriptive survey approach was used through the development of a questionnaire. The study sample consisted of (332) teachers chosen by the simple random method. The questionnaire was used as a study tool consisting of (37) items distributed to two areas: (Application of School Administrations of Governance) and (Requirements for the Application of Governance in Secondary Schools), after its validity and reliability have been confirmed. The results of the first question showed that the degree of application of administrative governance in secondary schools in Jerash governorate from the point of view of teachers was an average degree, whereas the results of the second question showed the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a≤0.05) between the averages of the responses of the study individuals about the degree of application of administrative governance in secondary schools in Jerash governorate from the teachers point of view attributed to the variables of (gender, years of experience and educational qualification). In light of the results of the study, the researchers recommended that the responsible authorities in the Ministry of Education should work to improve communication between school administrations and the higher management and work to empower school principals and involve them in decisions related to organizing school work
