Abstract

This study aimed to figure out the impact of electronic supervisory visit on the degree of teachers ’acceptance of technology in the supervisory process using modern visual and audio technologies. The study followed the semi-experimental approach and used the technology acceptance measure (TAM) as a research tool. The study sample was chosen by the intentional method and total (23) teachers from the North Batinah governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. The validity and reliability of the tool were measured by statistical treatments and the study reached the following results: the presence of statistically significant differences between the pre-and-post applications of the measure on the members of the experimental group in favor of the post-application in the degree of acceptance of technology in the supervisory process, in addition to the existence of an appropriate and statistically significant size effect that the electronic supervisory visit had on the members of the experimental group in the post-application in the degree of their acceptance of technology in the supervisory process.
