Obstacles to Scientific Research from the View Point of Educational Administration Master Students at Omani Universities

The study aimed to identify the obstacles to scientific research from the point of view of students pursuing a master's degree in educational administration at Omani universities. The study utilized a descriptive approach. A questionnaire with 24 items was created. It was tested for validity and reliability before being used on 145 students. The results of the study indicated that, from the perspective of master's students in educational administration at Omani universities, the obstacles to scientific research were "significant". Obstacles related to educational administration students ranked first, while obstacles related to faculty members ranked last. The results of the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of gender and the type of study sabbatical. Considering the previous results, the study recommended the implementation of training courses to train students on research skills in local and global electronic databases, reduce teaching and administrative burdens on faculty members and provide material and moral incentives for scientific research
