Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using ethical analysis approach in the development of decision-making skills and academic achievement in biology subject, among grade twelve female students. The study sample consisted of (58) female students, grade twelve, in Dakhlia Governorate/ Sultanate of Oman. The sample was divided into two groups: Experimental group (29 students) and the control group (29 students). To achieve the aims of this study, the researchers prepared a teacher guide, based on using ethical analysis approach, as well as two tools: Decision-making skills in scientific issues test and academic achievement test. The reliability and validity of thegeneral decision-making skills as well as that of academic achievement test were verified. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences indecision-making skills as well as in academic achievement test,in favor of the experimental group
